I guess I am having problems with the site. I cannot post to people's comments or comment on their lists!!
Lady Di I saw your wonderful comments and wanted to comment back...maybe I'm just blog "challenged" lol. Anyone else having this issue??

MMMM Yummy!
So, one of my goals (#20 to be exact) is to find two new recipes every month that I would actually add to my recipe book and cook again. So the recipes we tried and loved in February and March were: Tarragon-Cream Chicken Pot Pie, Bacon-Cheeseburger Calzones, Roasted Chicken Drummettes, and Tortellini Soup. I posted the recipes and pics on my 101 blog (http://whits101in1001.blogspot.com/) if you want to check them out and give them a try! They are pretty kid friendly and super yummy!

An update from across the wee pond.....
So, looking through my list i haven't done at all bad. I will probably give a proper update in April with what i have, and haven't managed to do so far. (The trips to Australia haven't materialised as of yet, and Pearl Jam have not bloody announced a show in Seattle either).
However, I thought people might just be interested in having a look at how i will be doing one of my tasks in 24 hours, and it involves mountains.
Well, i say mountains, they are to an Englishman. They are probably ant hills to you guys, but this is going to be no easy task.
One of my tasks were to hike the highest peak in England (Scafell Pike) and the highest peak in Wales (Mount Snowdon). Added to that, I am going to hike the biggest peak in Scotland, which is also the largest in the United Kingdom (Ben Nevis).
Have a gander....(that means "have a look"). Its impressive i can translate myself between my tongue and yours dont you think?

Later alligators.

How not to waste time
I went through the posts and left messages of encouragement for the people who had already posted. Most of them I knew, some were total strangers.
One I looked up on Facebook and friended. I thought it was a "normal" friending, where you acknowledge each other digitally and then read the other's occasional status posting. Ah, but not so this one. It's been a daily delight and exchange of information.Don't want to waste time? Don't friend this person. Want to meet them because they're interesting? Great, but no, I'm not divulging. Go through and introduce yourself to someone else on the site. You might find this person or you might find someone equally as fun. Either way, it's a win!
Oh, and my list. It's not raining today and knowing I was going to "check in," I fell into my preferred pick a bucket full of weeds before you enter the house after having been gone. It works well for me, gets the yard weeded in small chunks and doesn't make me feel overwhelmed. I have a lot of weeds. I chucked 3 buckets full in the yard waste.
The bad thing about a yard, like laundry or the dishes, is you can never truthfully say you have [x] amount completed, because it's always growing back.

First major accomplishment
Well, I have been doing some of the little stuff on my list, such as learning my new recipes and getting my "mommy maintenance" - I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time in like 2 years! However, I have a major one crossed off my list now...we have the back child support paid off! It was $3000 dollars and it is done and over with and feels great to be out from under it! Now onto more great accomplishments. I wish you all luck in your lists in the next few months to come...keep us posted!

101 GOALS IN 1001 DAYS
Wow! I am very behind on posting but keeping up with my goals. Here is my very late bio. My name is Monica Roberts. I have been a Massage Therapist for 5 years and have had the pleasure of beating up Frankie, almost weekly, for about the same amount of time. I have a magnificent man,who I should be married to after 12 years together, and I have a wonderful, independent 2 year old daughter who thinks she is turning 16. I am excited that Frankie asked me to join her in this round of 101 goals. I am at a point in my life where I need to make changes in order to get ahead and with this challenge I feel I give myself a goal and a purpose everyday.
